Laura Markstein.
When you have a calling, you can lift an entire community. Laura runs her family’s 100+-year-old wholesale beverage distributor Markstein Sales Company, one of the few of its kind in the US with both a woman owner and General Manager/VP. When their expanding business outgrew its former location, Laura chose to move the headquarters to Antioch where the process of building was welcoming, fast and efficient. Many of Markstein’s 170 team members also live locally making it an ideal location for their large operations and extensive community involvement.
